Ford Motor has presented its new SUV at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo. Tagged as "India's first urban SUV", the Ford EcoSport will be manufactured and sold in India first before it is launched in other global markets. The SUV will be built at Ford's plant in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The rugged strength of the EcoSport combines with dexterity in this super-compact car which will run on a small 1-litre petrol engine. The EcoSport has an aerodynamic design and incorporates technological features for ensuring high safety.

Bajaj RE60 features and price in India

Bajaj Auto Ltd (BAL) has introduced its low cost passenger vehicle at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo. The company officials insist that it is not a car but a four-wheeler for ferrying people. They state that the lightweight RE60 is a "dramatic improvement" on the 3-wheeler vehicles which carry passengers in small towns & cities.

The smallest 4-wheeler to be designed, the RE60 is said to be environmental-friendly with a CO2 emission of 60gm per km. One of the versions will be a fuel injected CNG vehicle.
